Three Laureates attend Nobel Prize Concert
Professor Akasaki, Professor Amano and Professor Nakamura turned out for the Nobel Prize Concert at 6:45 p.m. on December 8 (2:45 a.m. on December 9 Japan time). It was held at the Stockholm Concert Hall where the Nobel Prize award ceremony had taken place earlier. Professor Akasaki, Mrs. Akasaki and their family members enjoyed listening to the concert by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. It was about two hours long and Andris Nelsons, worldly famous conductor led the concert and performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 and other orchestra works. Professor Akasaki spent a relaxing time in the midst of his busy schedule.
